Product Introduction

ELIMOXAL NF80 is a multi-action flux developed for hypoeutectic aluminum-silicon (Al-Si) alloys. It is designed for skimming, deoxidizing, and covering molten aluminum, helping to remove oxides and impurities, improve melt cleanliness, reduce metal losses, and enhance casting quality. ELIMOXAL NF80 should not be used for high-alloy aluminum grades, phosphorus-refined alloys, or antimony-modified aluminum alloys.

Instructions for Use

*For Skimming:
1. At the end of the melting process, spread 0.05–0.10 wt.% of ELIMOXAL NF80 over the melt.
2. Allow the flux to melt, mix it with the dross until a dry, powdery slag is formed.
3. skim off the slag after a short reaction time.

*For Deoxidizing:
1. Apply 0.05–0.10 wt.% of the flux onto the molten metal surface.
2. Allow it to melt, mix thoroughly with the metal, remove the slag, and continue with subsequent melt treatments.

**Note: The treatment can also be carried out using an automatic ROTOXAL injection system.

• Use only in well-ventilated areas.
• Do not swallow or inhale the product.
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Store in the original tightly closed packaging away from moisture.
