RAM 169 is a high-performance water-based graphite forging lubricant specifically developed for flashless forging of metals. It provides a uniform lubricating film that reduces friction between the die and the workpiece, improves metal flow, extends die life, minimizes tool wear, and enhances the quality of forged components.

Directions for Use

RAM 169 is supplied as a concentrate and should be diluted with water before use.

• Recommended dilution ratio: 1:5 to 1:15
• The optimum concentration should be determined through trials based on the metal alloy, operating temperature, and forging conditions.
