RAM 188 is a high-performance water-based forging lubricant specifically developed for the hot and warm forging of steel and brass. It forms a stable lubricating film that reduces friction and tool wear, improves metal flow, extends die life, and enhances the quality and consistency of forged components.

Directions for Use

RAM 188 is supplied as a concentrate and should be diluted with water before use.
Recommended dilution ratio for steel: 1:10 to 1:25
*Recommended dilution ratio for brass: 1:20 to 1:60
**The optimum concentration should be determined through trials based on the metal alloy, operating temperature, and process conditions.
