ECREMAL N27

Product Introduction

ECREMAL N27 is a highly exothermic slagging-off flux developed for the production of aluminum castings using Al-Si alloys containing 5–13% silicon. It is designed for slag removal, melt covering, furnace and crucible wall cleaning, and light deoxidizing. The product promotes rapid slag separation, improves melt cleanliness, reduces metal losses, and enhances melting and casting efficiency.

Instructions for Use

1. At the end of the melting process, spread ECREMAL N27 evenly over the slag.
2. Wait a few minutes for the reaction to begin, then mix the flux with the slag until complete separation of slag and metal is achieved and a dry, powdery slag is formed.
During mixing, avoid forcing the slag into the molten metal. Finally, skim off the slag.
