ELIMOXAL NF70

Product Introduction

ELIMOXAL NF70 is a multi-action flux specially developed for hypoeutectic aluminum-silicon (Al-Si) alloys. It is designed for skimming, deoxidizing, and covering molten aluminum, improving melt cleanliness by removing oxides and impurities while reducing metal losses and enhancing casting performance. ELIMOXAL NF70 should not be used for high-alloy aluminum grades, phosphorus-refined alloys, or antimony-modified aluminum alloys.

Instructions for Use

*For Skimming:
At the end of the melting process, spread 0.05–0.10 wt.% of ELIMOXAL NF70 over the molten metal. Allow the flux to melt, mix it thoroughly with the dross until a dry, powdery slag is formed, then skim off the slag.

*For Deoxidizing:
Apply 0.05–0.10 wt.% of ELIMOXAL NF70 onto the melt surface. Allow the flux to melt, mix it thoroughly with the molten metal, remove the slag, and continue with subsequent melt treatments.

**Note: The treatment can also be carried out using an automatic ROTOXAL injection system.

• Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

• Store in the original tightly sealed packaging away from moisture.
