RAM 160 is a high-performance water-based graphite lubricant designed for lubricating dies used in hot forging processes, forging presses, forging machine tooling, and punches used in extrusion presses. When properly diluted, it forms a durable lubricating film that reduces friction and wear, improves metal flow, extends tool life, and enhances the quality of forged and extruded components.

Directions for Use

RAM 160 is supplied as a concentrate and should be diluted with water before use.

• Recommended dilution ratio: 1:5 to 1:10
• The optimum concentration should be determined through trials based on the metal alloy, operating temperature, and process conditions.
