ECREMAL N10

Product Introduction

ECREMAL N10 is a high-exothermic deslagging flux developed for removing stubborn slag, cleaning melting furnaces and crucibles, and recovering valuable metal from metal-rich slag. In addition to its excellent deslagging performance, it also provides a deoxidizing effect. The product is specifically designed for hypoeutectic aluminum-silicon (Al-Si) alloys and should not be used for phosphorus-refined (hypereutectic Al-Si), high-alloy (Al-Mg, Al-Cu), or antimony-modified aluminum alloys.

Instructions for Use

*For Molten Metal Deslagging:
At the end of the melting process, when the melt has reached the desired temperature, spread ECREMAL N10 over the slag. Wait a few minutes for the reaction to begin. In flame-fired furnaces, the reaction can be initiated by briefly operating the burners. Stir the slag gently to distribute the flux evenly without immersing it into the molten metal. Continue mixing until a dry, powdery slag is formed, then skim off the slag while minimizing metal loss.
*For Furnace Cleaning:
Immediately after emptying the furnace, spread ECREMAL N10 over the furnace hearth and spray it onto the furnace walls. Briefly operate the burners in flame furnaces to activate the reaction. Remove the loosened slag from the furnace walls.
