Main Applications of Diecoat RAM 068
RAM 068 is a specialized lubricant and release agent designed for the light alloy casting process. By creating a uniform protective and lubricating layer, this product enables easy part release from the mold and improves the surface quality of the cast parts.
RAM 068 has been developed as a suitable alternative to graphite-based lubricants and provides reliable performance, especially in applications where optimal flow of the molten metal, reduction of gas formation due to lubricant decomposition and achievement of high quality parts are important. In addition to reducing deposits on the mold, the use of this product helps to increase mold life, reduce cleaning frequency and improve production process efficiency.

How to use RAM 068 Lubricant
- 1 – Stir the product gently before each use.
- 2 – To dilute, add water to the product and stir gently. This product, especially in diluted form, tends to precipitate solid pigments at the bottom of the container. Therefore, it is recommended to stir the diluted product with a suitable stirrer.
- 3 – The dilution ratio of RAM 068 with water varies from 1:20 to 1:100. For special applications, higher concentrations may be required.
- 4 – Apply the diluted solution by spray to the desired surface.
Important notes
- Avoid storing in direct sunlight.
- Store at temperatures above +5°C and below +35°C.
- Use in a well-ventilated area.
- Do not swallow or inhale.
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
- Wear a mask and fireproof gloves when using.
