Description
RAM 48 Plunger Oil Main Applications
RAM 48 is a high viscosity graphite-based lubricating oil containing high molecular weight lubricants, specially developed for the lubrication of injection pistons in the pressure casting process of aluminum, magnesium, zinc and brass alloys. By creating a resistant and stable lubricating layer, this product minimizes friction and wear between the piston and the bushing and improves the performance of the equipment under high temperature and pressure conditions.
The presence of graphite in the RAM 48 formulation increases the lubricating properties, heavy load tolerance and heat resistance. These features prevent the adhesion of molten metal to system components, increase the useful life of pistons and equipment, reduce wear, reduce maintenance costs and improve the quality of manufactured parts.
